Our History

West Africa Bible College

West Africa Bible College had its first opening service on 12 March, 1957 in a rented room at 130, Agege Motor Road, Mushin. Its birth was the direct result of the vision and burden of its founder. Late Rev. John Wayne Brooks (an American Missionary to Nigeria) whose desire for several years had been to establish a ministerial training school in West Africa.

West Africa Bible College is dedicated to the task of providing a thorough education in Bible and Bible related subjects.

Its purpose is to train men and women for the ministry of the Gospel and the work of the Church. The College seeks to firmly establish the great truths of Salvation, Holiness, Pentecost and Evangelization of the lost.
